TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. General – Please read carefully, as when you sign the booking form, you will be agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions. It is our aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and with that in mind, we kindly ask all guests to refrain from smoking in the apartment or on the balconies and note that pets are not allowed in the premises. Sub-letting and sharing beyond the stated sleeping capacity (max 6 persons) is also prohibited. We ask all guests to behave in an orderly fashion and not to disrupt or disturb the enjoyment of other residents or in any way harm the reputation of ourselves.
2. Booking – Once you have chosen which period you wish to stay and then contacted us, we will send you a booking form and these terms and conditions. On receipt of this, please complete in full and return the signed booking form, along with a deposit of 25% or the full amount and security deposit, if booking within 8 weeks of departure. Once the deposit has been received and the cheque has cleared, your booking will be confirmed in writing and a contract will then exist.
3. Payment – Payment is to be made by cheque (cheques made payable to: Mrs J Ashman). Once the 25% deposit has cleared, the final balance will be required no later than 8 weeks before the holiday is due to commence. If the balance is not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday, retain the booking deposit and apply cancellation charges.
4. Security Deposit – Please send the refundable security deposit of £100 by cheque 8 weeks before departure. The security deposit will be returned by post within two weeks of the final day of the holiday provided the apartment is left clean and without damage.
5. Cancellation or Alteration - Any cancellations, after the booking has been confirmed, are to be made in writing, by the person who booked the holiday. However, the following cancellation charges will be applied: a. 56 days (8 weeks) or more prior to departure = loss of booking deposit. b. 36-55 days = 50% of the total cost of the holiday. c. 22-35 days = 75% of the total cost of the holiday. d. 0-21 days = 100% of the total cost of the holiday.
6. We will attempt to comply with any requests to amend a booking, after it has been confirmed, but cannot guarantee that this can be achieved.
7. We reserve the right (without prejudice) to cancel any holiday or make changes, should a situation arise. Such events include (but are not limited to) – war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threat of terrorism, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disasters, adverse weather conditions and fire. In any such event, you will be notified as soon as is practicable, in writing. In the case of an alteration, we will endeavour to offer you either an alternate date (within the same value) or a full refund.
8. Rental Period – Each week commences on a Saturday at 1600hrs until the following Saturday, until 1000hrs.
9. Liability – We accept no liability for any loss or damage to Clients baggage or personal belongings, as these are the owner’s responsibility. We accept no liability for any accidents that occur on the property.
